My Japanese summer

I have spontaneously decided to go to  Japan. I have therefore started this blog where I can share my travel experiences from the other side of the world. I have been in Japan once before last summer and I am really looking forward to going back. Back to the hectic city scape or the quiet zen gardens. The contrast of modern society and the traditional has really fascinated me. How they collide, but still seem to compliment each other very well.  There is a certain respect that is very inspiring. I will be working two weeks in Osaka where I will be helping Hiroshi Kato and Victoria Bennetzen with their exhibition at " Under 30 Architects". I am looking forward to working with Japanese architects, and hopefully get to know a lot of knew people. My good friend Maj decided to join my trip a couple of days ago. So we will be training her ( not an architecture student ) for model building skills on the plane. We will be staying with a friend of Victoria in Osaka, and as he said "we are very welcome but his house is only one room".  We are ready for the Japanese style, and eating sushi till we crack.
