We have now been here four days and are beginning to know our way around. It took us a couple of wrong turns though. We live on the opposite side of town than where we work. So it is about 5 different train and metro lines to get there. Most things are written in Japanese, so that doesn't make it easier. The Japanese are very friendly, but some times it seems they just give us any answer to get rid of us:) Probably also because of the language barrier. Yesterday we where told that the Aquarium would be closed because of the rain. That turned out not to be true... Wet fish.. I see not a good idea.
The city is so dense that you seem constantly to be wondering when you are actually on ground level. Yesterday we got kind of lost in this enormous underground shopping mall. The stations turn into a network of underground shopping streets with restaurants and all you could ever need and then suddenly you are in a shopping mall 6 stories under ground and then out again on the other side into the station. Our legs will be in top shape by the time we get back. I have no idea how the Japanese manage it in their high heels.
Underground station. It stretches out as big as the whole city area of Nørrebro where I live.
